Araupel as a trademark has been known in several countries for the quality of its products and capability of attending very demanding markets. About 400.000 cubic meters of logs/year are processed in an industrial complex of 463.000 square feet of constructed area which comprises sawmills, kiln dryers, remanufacture, product storage warehouse and other facilities, resulting in constant improvement which includes employees development and training.
Araupel was a pioneering company in Brazil to make finger-jointed products, enabling a greater stability to reforested wood piece which can be produced with the right equipment in the exact length determined by the customer.
The company is certified for Forest Stewardship Council® – FSC® Chain of Custody since 2001 which allows the company to label its FSC products assuring buyers and consumers that these materials and products are from responsibly managed forests, once it is demanded the forest material tracking since the harvesting up to the sale of the product.
