The world´s largest private Parana Pine forest

With 5.340 hectares of FSC Certified planted Parana Pine (Araucaria angustifolia), Araupel is so proud of having invested in Brazilian native pine.

Reforestings that warrant the species" perpetuity are led and managed in such a way as to achieve the forest"s highest possible future yield. After cultural treatments like silvicultural upkeepings, thinning out, prunings and parings down, the results are being seen as products to attend foreign markets.

With utmost care of the replacement program for future reserves, aimed at keeping the raw material perpetually, the Company carefully maintains reforesting projects of this important native species.
